Legacy location of Dr. Alan W Cook. Dr. Cook retired in 2021 and entrusted us with the care of his patients. Dr. Patel, all three providers, and the team are delighted to continue to offer the same great comprehensive dermatologic care. Our Birmingham office is conveniently in Jefferson County at the intersection of both Hoover and Vestavia Hills.

I had my first appointment today. The nurse practitioner, Anne, was so warm and amazing. She saw a freckle that she wanted to check out and did a biopsy. She was so detailed and quick. I was pleasantly surprised after a lot of bad derm appts in the past!

Dr. Patel and the True dermatology staff are amazing. Appointments are easy to schedule, the staff is courteous and efficient. I spend very little time waiting every time I go.
